Hello V! How are you? It's been a long while since I posted a comment on your blog. But yours is in my blog list, so I can always what's going on (if only with the thumbnail view).
I was compelled to click on your post thumbnail today. I like the picture and the object you captured in it because I'm doing a project on chairs and benches too right now (not for Bandung Daily Photo, but some will be posted there sometimes.)
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

Adorable. What is part of a rusty swing, perhaps, suddenly becomes almost human with your words.

Have a good weekend.
A bit rusty, a bit broken down, but still swinging. Metaphorical as all get out!
This is a very good image Virginia. Love it!
Great photo and text to go with it!
Those ol' green chairs need some TLC, y'all! Don't sit down there with your white, silk pants from Paris, V!
La photo est très originale et le commentaire excellent!
cath.
Somehow I think of the seat on a very old and unsafe roller coaster or the chair lift at a third world ski resort. Life on the edge.
I love shooting junk and construction sites ... this is super
Lovey-dovey! Here's a recent post of mine with chairs telling a story....
Ha--my WV is 'grammar'. Ain't that somethin'?
