That does it. I'm going to pick a color and start a series. What should it be? Pasadena Purple? Puce? Pumpkin? Pearl? Puke? Peach? Periwinkle? Pink? Plum? Or just plain Pastel?
I'd like to buy the world a Coke and get a dental check. It's the real thing...
As I sink deeper into elderly curmudgeonness, the more I get P.O.ed at companies who mass market something that's okay for an occasional treat, pushing it to the point that it becomes a public health menace. So harrumph.
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
I am a former elementary school teacher, a full-time photographer, part-time painter, lover of all things French ( whose français is slowly improving), obsessive Paris traveler, enthusiastic art museum volunteer, grateful community volunteer, and grandmother to 5 delightful grandchildren.

bien vu, et puis le rouge va si bien au coca cola ;)
Wonder if the owner of this wonderful old door bought the paint in Paris!
Very nice! But I don't recall returnable bottles with twist off caps. When were they made?
;-))
Love it!
Nice shade :)
After Paris Rouge, it was about time to see some Birmingham rouge also.
Have a great day Virginia.

Very pretty still-life! Red suits you and Birmingham!
Love the red!
Was in Bham this weekend for some golf. I miss that southern weather.
