I loved photographing this place at Red Barn Foundation and Horseback Riding. The flower garden, picket fence and the dear old faded flag all seemed made for each other.
There used to be a Red Barn place in Hoover that sold Christmas ornaments in November and December every year. This was in the 80s. I don't remember if that was the name of it, or exactly where it was for that matter! Not off Rocky Ridge Road, maybe off Dolly Ridge Road? Do you remember it?
FancyHorse, You must be thinking about that Christmas Cottage on Old Rocky Ridge Road. I shopped there when I taught kindergarten at Lakeside Baptist! :) V
I have lived in Birmingham most of my life. I think it's a beautiful, friendly, and interesting place to live. I hope that my daily photographs portray the diversity of my hometown in a positive and artistic way.
